Crisp sunday morning, with bright sunshine today, as we saw our Junior 8's take to our home ground against Glen Villa Junior's.
The team consisted of Zac, Vinnie, George, Ollie, Harris, Noah, Archie and Freddie. They got off to a shaky start conceding an early goal but within minutes were on the attack hitting home goal after goal.
Some fantastic defending with good tackling and with some good covering of each other.
Equally the goalkeepers did a few good saves too.
They passed with an air of confidence continously playing forward and into space.
It was interesting to see they kept position well and didn't do the normal bumble bee effect football of that age group, all swarming around the ball.
I saw some fantastic dribbling, great one two's and some excellent goals worthy of Match of the Days "Goal of the month".
A huge well done to all the boys you all played brilliantly. A well deserved win. Proud to see the Phoenix Army Spirit in all of them.
